Causes of Urinary Incontinence
Urinary incontinence can be caused by a number of physical conditions. Half of
all cases of incontinence are temporary and can be reversed once the cause is identified
and treated. Some causes can be from:
- Urinary Tract Infections
- Vaginal Infection
- Prolapse

- Reaction to Medication
- Dietary Changes

Incontinence that is not a result of infection, impaction, or reaction to medication could be caused by:
- Pelvic Muscle Weakness
- Weakness of the Urethral Sphincter
- Bladder Muscle Overactivity
- Prostate Cancer

- Decrease in Estrogen
